Barbara Crider

Barbara A. Crider left this life February 6, 2021. She was at home surrounded by her family after a hard fight with cancer.
She was born January 1st,1957 in Chambersburg. Her parents were Raymond Beaver and Mary (Lightner) Beaver.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years Michael S. Crider of Orrstown. Three children: Shawn M Crider (wife Anita) of Shippensburg. Daughter Kendra L. Crider of Orrstown. Son Spencer S. Crider (wife Anna) of Big Sky, Montana.
Three grandchildren Eileigh Crider, Vaida Jenson, and Tsar Jenson all of Orrstown.
One brother Raymond Beaver (wife Gerri) of Vergennes, VT. One sister Catherine Amsley (husband Ed) of Edenville.
Also many, many nieces and nephews that loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She graduated Port Saint Joe, Florida in 1974. She was employed at J. B. Schoeneman until they closed and then began a career with the PLCB managing stores in Greencastle, Carlisle, and Chambersburg.
She enjoyed fishing, camping, trips to the beach and most of all, being with family. She loved her pets and especially her Labradoodle Luna and little Leroy Brown.
There will be no services at this time. She wanted friends and family to have a picnic in the spring at the family home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
