Barbara L. Hagerich

Barbara L. Hagerich, 70, of Waynesboro, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Genesis Health Care Facility in Chambersburg, PA after a year long illness. Born March 16, 1956 in the Chambersburg Hospital she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Dorothy J. (Angle) Kyler.

Barbara was a 1974 graduate of James Buchanan High School. Following high school she completed the licensed practical nursing program in at Franklin County. She worked 50 years in nursing home facilities in the area. She loved working as an LPN and enjoyed her coworkers.

She is survived by two brothers, Timothy E. Kyler (Barbara) and David A. Kyler (Susan); a sister, Ramona J. Crouch; numerous aunts and uncles; very special aunt, Faye Heinbaugh; two nieces, Morgan Crouch and Emma Kyler; four nephews, Gage Kyler, Joshua Kyler (Joanne), Joel Kyler (Mary),and Drew Kyler (Rachel); seven great-nieces, Laila, Bailey, Sage, Pearl, Allison, Gracelyn, and Hazel.

Barbara loved cooking and especially baking cakes and pies which her coworkers loved. She also enjoyed watching football and in her later years watching baseball, especially her favorite team the Baltimore Orioles.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
