Betty R. Davis, 94, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born July 26, 1926 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Susan Daughtery Rotz, and the widow of the late Robert M. Davis, who preceded her in death on September 13, 2013.
Mrs. Davis was a great wife, mother and grandmother. She devoted her life to her family. She was employed as an accountant at Shively Motors in Chambersburg for a number of years. An avid camper, she also loved sewing, cooking and baking; especially her famous cinnamon buns. She and her husband were very involved at the Salem United Brethren Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, and had many fond memories of various outings with her class.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Davis of Chambersburg; granddaughters, Heather Jo Martin and Faith S. Carbaugh; and great grandchildren, Bishop E. Diehl, Meije G. Martin, and Scarlett R. Green.
Services for Mrs. Davis will be held at a later date.
