In Loving Memory of Brian Lynn Brant

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Brant, a much loved and cherished father, brother, and friend who departed from this world at the age of 57 on January 2, 2024.

Born July 24, 1966, Brian lived a life filled with hard work, optimism, unwavering dedication and support to his loved ones. He leaves a legacy of laughter, inquisitiveness, and a profound impact on all those that were not only just fortunate to know him, but also those he was able to fill with inspiration through him.

A native of Somerset County, PA, Brian grew up on a family farm with a strong sense of values helping there and the family restaurant. He was one of six boys, always pushing the boundaries of what one of the youngest was able to get away with. This sense of exploration and roguishness extended into his adult life, where he would discover his wife, and father four children: Laruen, Justin, Taylor, and Marcedes.

Brian was a man of many talents and passions. As a professional he supplied freight to all corners of North America and ensured commerce kept flowing. His work ethic and almost three decades of dedication to the profession allowed him to excel and become one of the best at what he did. Colleagues admired his professional abilities and willingness to complete even the most arduous tasks.

Beyond his professional life, Brian was a lover of books and writing letters. He found solace, knowledge, and joy listening to audiobooks and reading any suspense or fiction book he could get his hands on. He had an appreciation for the simple things in life, sharing a laugh with friends, listening to music or playing board games with anyone who was up for them.

Brian’s candid sense of humor was only matched by his work ethic. The hard work and wit he encompassed made an impact on the lives around him, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

In the face of this profound loss, Brian is survived by his four children, his seven grandchildren, his three remaining siblings, and friends all of whom will carry his memory. While we mourn the passing of a remarkable man, let us also celebrate the rich tapestry of experiences, love, and laughter that he shared with us.

Arrangements are entrusted to SimpleChoice Cremation Services Inc. Chambersburg.
