Charles S. Willoughby, 91, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born April 13, 1934 in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Ella (Little) Willoughby.

Charles served in the United States Army with the 101st Airborne Unit until his honorable discharge. Following his time in the service Charles went to work as a welder and was part of the Welder-Plumbers Union 690. He was a very talented welder with a great reputation.

Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap-shooting, boating, and traveling. In his younger years he raced motorcycles. His fur buddy was by his side always and he called her Booger.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Barbara (Mazey) Willoughby; two children, Chris Willoughby (Michele), and Barbara Nichols (Thomas); seven grandchildren, Alexis and Brandon Willoughby, Matt and Jason Everhart, Steven, Lauren, and Leeta Evans; two siblings, Robert Willoughby and Carol Willoughby Coons; and his beloved pet, Booger who was always by his side.

In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by a step-father, James Jones; a brother, Robert Willoughby; and a son, Craig Willoughby.
