Charlotte C. Iser

Charlotte C. Iser, 75, of Shippensburg, PA passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Mercy House Chambersburg with her children by her side. Born December 26, 1950, in Fannettsburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Edward W. and Nellie V. (Fleagle) Seibert.

She is survived by her two children, Debbie Shatzley (Shane) of Orrstown, PA and John Iser (Jennifer Barefoot) of Chambersburg, PA; two grandchildren, Garrett Iser and Dylan Barefoot; one brother, Donald Seibert of Fannettsburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Charlotte is preceded in death by two sisters, Julia Hockenberry and Janet McAllen; and two brothers, Edward Seibert and Richard Seibert.

Charlotte was very passionate about her job as the manager of Bonanza Steakhouse at the Chambersburg Mall. She retired in 2018 after 39 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling with her siblings on vacations, bird watching and looking at flower gardens. Charlotte was very active in planning social gatherings, crafts, and other activities at the Cottages in Shippensburg where she resided.
