Donald E. “Donnie” Brechbiel, 61, of Fayetteville, PA passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born August 5, 1964 in Waynesboro, PA he was the son of the late Aaron W. and Patricia Ann (Statler) Brechbiel.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Lori (Rock) Brechbiel; three children, Donald Aaron Brechbiel (Melvin Colon) of Greencastle, PA, Jeremy Brechbiel (Eve) of Tifton, GA, Chelsea Jo Brechbiel of Fayetteville, PA; one grandchild, James Guevara; three brothers, John Statler of Chambersburg, Aaron Brechbiel, Jr. (Melissa), and Curtis Brechbiel (Janie) both of Greencastle; three sisters, Anna Mae Naugle of Chambersburg, Peggy Gift (Bobby) of Chambersburg, and Vicky Brechbiel-Swick of Maryland; and his mother-in-law Shirley Rock of Chambersburg. In addition to his parents, Donnie is preceded in death by a daughter, Ashley Brechbiel.

Donnie was a 1982 graduate of Greencastle Antrim High School. He was employed by Ventura Foods, Chambersburg for 27 years.

He loved riding his Harley and working on all types of engines; he was everyone’s “go-to” guy on mechanical issues and would provide advice on how to fix the problem. Donnie enjoyed spending time with his family and playing with his nieces and nephews. In his free time, you could find him drinking sweet tea and watching TV or on the computer with his fur buddy, Piper Noel by his side.

A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
