Ernest R. Eyler

Ernest R. Eyler, 55, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026 at his residence. Born April 7, 1970 in Gettysburg, PA he was the son of James M. Eyler, Sr. and the late Barbara E. Eyler.

He is survived by his loving wife, Priscilla (Wireman) Eyler. Ernest is also survived by one daughter, Brittany Deavers (Teddy) of Hagerstown, MD.; two step-daughters, Marlaina Kauffman (Wayne) of Keymar, MD., and Heather Hurt of Maryland; grandchildren, Ethan Hudnall, Levi Deavers, Devan Kauffman, Lexi, Jasmine, Ivy, Jade, and several others; one sister, Michelle Eyler; and multiple nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, Ernest is preceded in death by a daughter, Ashley Eyler and a brother James “Butch” Eyler, Jr.

Ernest was an excellent artist and was thinking about selling some his work in the future. He also loved singing and cooking his wife her favorite meal; salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, and lima beans. Priscilla was his whole world. He will be missed by her and his whole family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
