Herman Smith

Herman Dean Smith passed away at Laurel Lakes Rehab Center on June 9, 2021, at the age of 64. He will be remembered for his lifelong love of the Marine Corps, in which he served during the Vietnam era.

All are welcome to attend a memorial service at 7 PM on Tuesday, July 6 at the Hamilton Heights God’s Missionary Church (1699 Johnson Road, Chambersburg), with Pastors Jeff Stratton, Terry Yoder, and Jared Weaver officiating. Dean will be buried with full military honors at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 7, at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville).
