Jeffrey P. Smith, 68, of South Mountain, PA passed away Friday, July 7, 2023 in his home. Born March 7, 1955 in Waynesboro, PA he was the son of the late Max Clark and Virginia Gladys (Rupp) Smith.
He served with the United States Marine Corps. Jeff was employed as supervisor for Knouse Foods, retiring after 40 years with the company. He was a member of South Mountain Fish and Game. He enjoyed taking care of his property, going to flea markets, and spending time with his granddaughter, Isabelle.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Angie (Daywalt) Smith; a son Jeffrey H. Smith (Kathy) of South Mountain; granddaughter, Isabelle; sister, Evelyn Smith, a great-nephew, Levi who was a large part of his heart; and special friends, Ang Verdier and Bev Smith and family.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by five brothers; Max Smith Jr., David Smith, Kenny Smith, Brian Smith, and Harold Smith; a sister Dawn Rosenberry; and a dear childhood friend, Ross Stine.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 13, 2023 in Outreach Building at South Mountain Bible Church, 11275 South Mountain Rd., Fayetteville, PA 17222.
