Matthew C. Malady

Matthew C. Malady, 59, of Fayetteville, PA, and formerly of York, PA, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born August 4, 1966, he was the son of the late Charles and Connie (Hinish) Malady.

He is survived by his sister, Jill, and her husband Jay Rexroth of Dallastown, PA; his nephew, Adam Rexroth of Red Lion, PA; and his devoted friend, Ed Reed of Fayetteville.

A lifelong music lover, Matt found his greatest joy behind the drums, performing in various bands with Ed, Dave and Dale throughout his younger years.
