Michael W. Kennedy, 69, of Fayetteville PA, passed away Friday, September 12 2025 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born February 27, 1956 in Chambersburg, he was the son of Anita (Overcash) Kennedy and the late William Kennedy.

He was employed as a janitor for International Paper, a job he truly enjoyed. Mike loved doing diamond paintings which are displayed around his home. You could also find him playing bingo, going to Hollywood Casino, playing poker, going to flee markets, looking at Lionel Trains, and traveling to Pigeon Forge.

Michael is survived by three children, John M. Kennedy (Rebecca), Josh Kennedy (Jess), and Arron Kennedy; five stepchildren, Miguel Anthony, Paul Tillion, Margret Ekonrode, Malinda Wiggs, and Victor Garcia; twelve grandchildren, Jade, Hunter, Bryson, Braxton and Aubrey Kennedy, Kaylynn Franklin, Gabby Lane, Rosi Ross, Melinda Rodregis, Valeria Alvarez, Kendell and Gabrielle Davis and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; five siblings, Gloria Hoover, Gary Kennedy, Tim Kennedy and Connie Sprow; and his past wife, Pauline Peters Kay.

A memorial service will be held 5:00 PM, Monday, September 22, 2025 in Liberty Baptist Church, 11195 Airport Road, Waynesboro, PA 17268. A time of fellowship will follow.
