Ronald Lee Kriner, 72, of Chambersburg, PA moved to his heavenly home after a long battle with cancer on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at his residence. Born October 23, 1953 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Kenneth, Sr. and Jean (Varner) Kriner.

He is survived by his wife Pauline R. (Metzler) Kriner, whom he shared 52 years.

Ronald is also survived by four children, Misty (Jack) Bragunier, Tammy (Tim) Bowers, April Cowan, and David (Kristin) Cowan; and eight grandchildren, Jaclyn Bragunier, Tyler Cooley, Kelsey Shockey, Skye, Nick and Gabe Cowan, Michael and Jessica Miller.

In addition to his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by three brothers, Larry “Bud”, Edward E. and Kenneth W. Kriner, Jr.

In Ronald’s early career he worked for the former Bumgardner Oil and U.S. Paper Mill, in Chambersburg. He then went on to work as a diesel mechanic for Martin’s Famous Pastry for 26 years retiring in 2017. After a short retirement, he went back to work as a school bus driving for Myer’s Bus Lines, Inc. for the past six years..

When Ron was younger, he enjoyed dirt track racing cars, the #9 was his car. He loved to go hunting, fishing and camping with his wife. More than anything all he loved traveling and cruising with his wife by his side.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
