Ruth A. Wenger

Ruth A. Wenger, 63, of St. Thomas, PA passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 15, 2026, in her home. Born August 20, 1963, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of Bonnie (Mowen) Myers and the late Donald L. Fisher.

She is survived by her companion of 33 years, Valentine Shoop; two sons, Brad Wright of St. Thomas, Corey Wenger of Fayetteville, PA; two stepsons, Derek Shoop and Travis Shoop; four grandchildren, Braxton James Wright, Harper Leann Wenger, Liam Alan, and Nova Lynn Wenger; a brother, Travis Fisher (Michelle); and one fur baby, Sadie.

In addition to her father, Ruth is preceded in death by a sister, Dianna Martin and a brother, Donald Fisher.

Ruth worked many years for E. C. Barnes and later Sunnyway Foods as a deli associate where she retired from. She loved flowers, crafting, cooking and spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
