Terry L. Wible, 77, of Fayetteville, PA, peacefully passed away on Thursday, June11, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on August 30, 1948, Terry was the son of the late Donald and Betty (Locke)Wible. 

He was a graduate of St. Thomas High School. Proud to serve his country,Terry joined the Army Reserves and was honorably discharged on January 27,1974. Following his military service, he dedicated 18 years of hard work to the telephone company before answering a higher calling, ultimately becoming an ordained pastor and serving his community through faith.

Outside of his ministry, Terry possessed a unique and passionate hobby: raising and showing chickens. An expert in his field, he authored a well-regarded book on raising Japanese Bantams, which went on to sell copies to enthusiasts all over the world. Above all, Terry was a dedicated family man, known for his open heart and welcoming home.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Wible.

Terry is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Susan (Clark) Wible; his three daughters, Angela Jones, Alexis Helman (Eric), and Amanda Owens; and his cherished grandchildren, Evan and Bella Owens. He is also survived by his "adopted" son, Steve Istvan Matolcsi, who joined the Wible family at the age of 19 and, though he now resides in Texas, remains an inseparable part of their hearts and family.

Per Terry’s wishes, no formal service is planned. In lieu of flowers or traditional memorial contributions, the family requests that donations be made in Terry's memory to the American Parkinson Disease Association to help fund research and support others.
