Todd Michael Barnhart

Todd Michael Barnhart, 56, of Mercersburg PA, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026 at his residence. Born February 1, 1969 in Hagerstown MD, he was the son of late Robert William and Jolene (Garver) Barnhart II.

He graduated from North Hagerstown High School with the Class of 1987 where he was on the wrestling team. Todd loved the outdoors from hunting, fishing, hunting mushrooms, to floating the Potomac River. He enjoyed watching his daughter’s softball and volleyball games. He also enjoyed listening to the Grateful Dead with his friends. Todd was always the life of the party and wanted to have a good time.

Todd is survived by two daughters, Taylor Barnhart and Morgan Barnhart Stevens (Michael); two granddaughters, Adelyn and Carsyn Stevens; a brother, Tray Barnhart (Angie); an aunt, Dawn Peffer (Rick); a uncle, Dale Williams (MJ); niece and nephew, Kaley and Cole Barnhart; and special cousins, Kip Stover (Annette), Karen Richards (Ed), Wade Stover (Anita), Shell Stover, and Lara Bollinger (Joe) and their families. In addition to his parents, Todd is preceded in death by Merle and Lorraine Barnhart, Paul and Geraldine Doub, and Joseph and Pauline Garver.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
