Tony A. McLaughlin

Tony A. McLaughlin, 67, of Mercersburg, PA passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025 in his home. Born August 23, 1958 in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Robert Laman and Blanche (Ervin) McLaughlin.

He was employed as an assembler at APX Enclosures for 24 years. Tony was a member of the SAL at St. Thomas American Legion and also a member of the Mercersburg Moose Club. He enjoyed spending time in the garage with his cousin, Johnny; socializing at the local social clubs; and playing cornhole with his family and friends.

Tony is survived by a daughter, Melody McLaughlin; step-children, Joshua and Jessica Horne; a bonus daughter, Ashley Martin; four step-grandchildren; two siblings, Donald McLaughlin and his husband, Matthew Brown and Patty Layton and her husband Nelson; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carmen McLaughlin and a brother, Robert Ray McLauglin.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, December 27, 2025 in the St. Thomas American Legion, 7966 Lincoln Way West, St. Thomas, PA 17252. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the start of the service at 3:00 PM on Saturday.
